BIOSPHERE BIOPESTICIDE CONSULTING provides a specialist service for specialist products, offering an efficient, cost-effective route to market for biopesticides and other reduced-risk products. Our clients range from research groups and small manufacturers to the largest multinational agrochemical companies, requiring services ranging from experimental design and trials management through to complete dossier submission and defence.  

BIOSPHERE BIOPESTICIDE CONSULTING was set up by Dr Mark Whittaker, a biopesticide specialist from the crop protection and regulatory affairs industries. As a founding member of the UK branch of the International Biocontrol Manufacturers’ Association he has worked to promote a more pragmatic approach to the regulation of biological products in Europe, and was instrumental in the development of the UK Biopesticides Scheme.

His experience in the crop protection industry has given him a wealth of hands-on knowledge that encompasses product formulation, application and efficacy optimisation through to marketing and commercial development. He has a track record of negotiating cost-effective solutions to regulatory problems, and works closely with growers, manufacturers and regulatory authorities throughout the world.
